Welcome to Downtown New Port Richey
Downtown New Port Richey is a historic rivertown community in north Tampa Bay with award-winning restaurants, shops, bars, and breweries.
Our rich history is preserved by the Hacienda Hotel (reopening in 2022), Richey Suncoast Theatre, and the New Port Richey Museum. Natural amenities like Sims Park, the Cotee River, and James E. Grey Preserve are waiting to be explored.
Minutes away from a state-of-the-art recreation and aquatic center, and less than an hour from Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater, come find out why Downtown NPR is the best place to live, work, and play in Tampa Bay!
Holiday Scavenger Hunt in Downtown NPR
New Port Richey Main Street is the community non-profit behind events like the Seafood Festival and the Christmas Boat Parade. During the pandemic, they’re spreading joy in downtown NPR through new and creative ways!
Since early-December, a dozen businesses have joined NPR Main Street to spread Christmas cheer downtown! Windows are lit up, painted with festive scenes, and decorated in the spirit of the season. Now it’s time to vote for your favorite!
The historic Arcade Mall has a nice mix of services and retail.
Tis the season for Christmas fun!
This past weekend’s Christmas Golf Cart Ride, hosted by Sip on Grand, was a huge success! Hundreds of golf carts lining the streets, lights up and down every block, and families gathering to enjoy the spectacle. That’s what downtown NPR is all about!
But the fun doesn’t end there! We have so much more in store for December, and can’t wait for you all to see!
As you’ll notice, Downtown New Port Richey is golf cart friendly city.
