Cotee River Christmas Boat Parade

Cotee River Christmas Boat Parade is back on Saturday, December 4! Details to come – check back for details or go to the Facebook page, but we will be having activities starting at 4 pm before the parade with crafts, carolers, a visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus, hot cocoa, and a holiday passport to fill out when you visit downtown businesses to enter a drawing for prizes! Downtown businesses will have special hours for the event so maybe get some Christmas shopping done after or before grabbing a bite to eat or beverage to drink.
The boat parade itself will start around sundown 5:30 to 6 pm along the Cotee River starting from the NPR-NP US 19 bridge to Sims Park and then back.

Because the event is on the river the last I heard there were no closures for roads.
Can you provide us with info on road closures and which streets? We have kids participating in a musical at the theater and trying to plan ahead. Thanks!
Not this year, but many downtown businesses will be open and some will even have extended hours before, during and a bit after the parade (up to each business on how late they can stay open).
