The City of New Port Richey has re-opened the special event process and applications are flying in! Check out these great events that have already been approved for this summer:

New Port Richey FarmNet’s Outdoor Produce Market

WHEN: Saturday, June 19th from 11 AM – 1 PM

WHERE: Rose’s Bistro

WHAT: Our favorite urban gardening organization is hosting their first produce market in years! Try this unique, locally grown produce and you’ll be totally hooked. It’s more flavorful, nutritionally dense, and environmentally friendly than the grocery store stuff!


Juneteenth Celebration

WHEN: Saturday, June 19th from 11 AM – 5 PM

WHERE: Sims Park, New Port Richey

WHAT: Juneteenth is a federal holiday celebrating the end of slavery in the United States. This event will host musical performances, Caribbean cuisine, and a number of influential speakers.


Yappy Hour

WHEN: Saturday, June 19th from 6 PM – 8 PM

WHERE: Ordinance One

WHAT: Wag your tails ’cause Yappy Hour is back! Join us at Ordinance One as we hang out with the coolest pups in town. Plus, get to know one of our newest downtown businesses, Pupperz Grooming!


KIAFest 2021

WHEN: Saturday, June 26th from 5 PM – 11 PM

WHERE: Sims Park, New Port Richey

WHAT: KIAFest is back after a yearlong hiatus! Have a blast watching the firework display, listening to live performances, and enjoying our downtown bars and restaurants!


Patriotic Ride & Roll

WHEN: Saturday, July 3rd from 10 AM – 1 PM

WHERE: Downtown NPR

WHAT: Following a super successful roll-out last year, the Cotee River Golf Cart Owners are once again hitting the streets to put on this awesome event! Join them in Railroad Square at 10 AM to begin staging before the Ride and Roll begins at 11!


Family Movie Night in Sims Park

WHEN: Saturday, July 10th from 8:30 PM – 10 PM

WHERE: Sims Park, New Port Richey

WHAT: Meet the Croods! They’re just like you and me, except they lived in the ‘Croodaceous’ Period thousands of years ago! Bring the family down to Sims Park as we celebrate the return of family movie night with this laugh-out-loud comedy!
